Serves 6


  • 1 lb. round steak

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 onion

  • 1/2 sour orange

  • 2 eggs


Cut the meat into 6 thin steaks. Clean and pound well. Cover with crushed garlic and pepper. Add the sour orange juice, cover well and marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour. When ready to cook the steaks, beat the eggs with the salt. Drain the steaks and dip twice in beaten egg and crushed crackers. Fry in hot oil (375) until golden.
