Pollo en Vino y Cebolla (Chicken in Wine and Onions)

Serves 6

1/4 lb. butter
2 chickens cut into eights
1 1/2 lbs. small white onions, cut in halves.
1 tbs, salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 cups white wine
1 cup flour

Product Description

Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Dust with light coat
of flour. Brown in butter. Add whole peeled onions and wine. Cover casserole well and cook
over medium heat for 40 mins. approximately.
If a thicker sauce is required, lightly cover chicken with flour before
browning.
Serve with steamed vegetables.
