Harina Con Cangrejos (Crabs With Cornmeal)

6 crabs
2/3 cups oil
2 onion
4 cloves garlic
1 green pepper
1 can tomato sauce
1 tbs. vinegar
3 cups thick cornmeal
18 cups water
1 tbs. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Product Description

Buy live crabs. After killing them separate the claws and cut the body in half. Wash well.
Heat oil and fry onion, garlic, pepper and tomato sauce. Add vinegar and crab pieces together with cornmeal, water, salt and pepper. Cook approximately for two hours and check seasoning before serving.
