Ensalada de Pollo con Fruta (Fruit and Chicken Salad)

1 can fruit cocktail 16 oz
(You may want to use fresh fruits of your choice)
3 cups cooked and diced chicken, white meat
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped hazelnuts
1 apple, peeled and diced
The juice from 1/2 lemon
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cream cheese (8 oz.)
1/4 tsp, salt
1 tbs. lemon juice

Product Description

Dice chicken into 1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces. Mix with all ingredients except the fruit cocktail.
Drain fruit cocktail and mix in carefully with the rest, being careful no to break fruit pieces.
You may also want to add or use fresh fruits.
Chill in refrigerator for two hours before serving. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
