Pan Broiled Steak

Serves 3

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. center filet
    cut into 3 steaks
  • 1 sour orange
  • tbs. butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion

Preparation:

Clean the steaks and cover with orange juice, garlic and onion. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for one hour. Heat the butter and brown steaks on both sides. Sprinkle with salt and cook a few minutes more as required.
Round steaks or cutlets are prepared in the same way buy should be pricked with a fork and sprinkled with meat tenderizer before marinating.
Sauté the onions in the pan, or serve with raw onion and chopped parsley.
