The Spanish version of salami, made with pork and spices but no pimenton. We cook our Salchichón slowly for 6 hours so that the pork and unique spices faithfully combine. 8" long x 2" thick. No refrigeration needed until opened.SALCHICHONCITO {sal-chee-chone-SEE-tow} The same tasty Salchichón offered in a convenient smaller size. Cooked for 6 hours. Air dried for 10 days. Lugareños chorizos and salchichones with over 60 years in the market were originally from the town of Lugareño in Camaguey, Cuba, but the story began in Asturias, Spain where Lugareño turned their own farm fresh pigs into chorizos.The tradition and family recipe continue. Vacuum packed, no refrigeration needed until after opening.
