My Great Grandfather's Statue & The Park Named in his Honor, 12.15.2009

I am going t write this in English for the sake of all of those who can't speak Castellano.
On the corner of Obispo and Monserrate--is the Floridita a Cuban epicurean delight and landmark that is a part of modern Cuban history. However, in the center of your photograph is another historical Cuban landmark dedicated to the memory of my great-grandfather- General Francisco de Albear y Lara--the architectural engineer that designed and built the aqueduct of Habana. I want to thank you for including the landmark in the Photo of the Floridita. . .interestingly enough without the aqueduct the health of old Habana would have been compromised to a great degree--and the ability for the waters to be healthy for our "patria's" capital would have not existed let alone the capacity for the Floridita to serve the great food and drink that it became so famous for.
Gracias por esta oportunidad de decir esto.
Thank You for including my Great-Grandfather's small achievement in the foreground of your Photograph--
