I grew up with this original Agua de Violetas as a child. I was born in cuba and was the staple for babies and toddlers. Even when I was in California after immigrating from Cuba, my family was able to find it in Cuban market in LA. When I had my first child, my mother found Agua de Violetas and gave me a bottle. It brought back so many memories and I was able to use it on my other two children for years. I always got complements from people on how nice my babies smelled. Now, I have grandchildren. I am buying this for my granddaughter who is a year old. I am so glad I can keep the Cuban tradition going! Thank goodness it is still available!

I will always remember my Abuelita whenever I smell this scent. I can remember seeing this bottle (the original glass one) around as far back as five years old and always feeling happy and loved. When I had my first child My Abuelita found it in one of the bodegas where she lived and I was so happy because I wanted to share this with my daughter and she loved it as well and kept an empty bottle, she is now 21. I then met my 2nd husband who is Cuban also(I am half Cuban) and this is a tradition in his family so when we had our daughter of course she smelled like Violetas too. We then heard that Agua de Violetas was going out of business so I got on the internet to find out and was happy to find this site and that you carried the original so now whenever someone needs a supply I can tell them about The Cuban Food Market. So this is another sweet and loving tradition that can be passed down through generations . It is a light sweet scent that will immediately take you back to your own childhood, just close your eyes and breathe in that beautiful perfume, you'll be taken right back to those Sweet Memories.
